I love American people and their communities which are of diverse ethnicity. I used to plan to immigrate to USA to make life easier if Thailand could not shed off her dictators. However, I have already returned my green card which I was holding for nearly 50 years.
Incidentally, I am an alumnus who learned malignity of American governments, the privileged, and some benefit groups. They are prepared to anilhilate any races, kill anybody, no matter Presidents or Kings of any countries for their own interests. Therefore, I do not trust any American and those people, including their representatives in our country.
Please do not get me wrong that I am anti-American. In fact, I am pro-American. I see that for foreign policy, Thai has to maintain sincere and serious friendship with US. But it does not mean that we have to follow American's ass so much that we are not free to tip toward China, our natural alliance of Thai, for example.
Thai has to understand that American's psychology as a recent super power after World War 2, has not yet finished with partisanship and cold war as well as her superiority complex. Therefore, Thai has to position not to be too "chicken" for American in all matters.
If necessary, we have to slap American face to teach them some lessons, not to interfere with our internal matters and not to take side with or babble along with the non-patriotic and dangerous people. While American has to respect our sovereignty and our long history of our nation, Thai has to take pride in our own nation first.
American style of foreign policies are always "biased, naive, and power crazy".
Why biased? For example, they always force us to take side. If not on American side, it means enemy, as simply concluded by an American idiotic President.
Why naive? Apart from its obvious meaning, it also implies submerged in ignorance, lack of prudence, unawaring of morality and forever unenlightened. Career path within the American foreign ministry is selective for obedient people of moderate intelligence, not sapient ones. Outsiders may become ambassadors in exchange for donation to the parties, and not because of the actual suitability.
The present American Ambassador is from the professional line. There are rumours that when she was an Ambassador in Manila, she was very nosy.
Why power crazy? needs no explanation. Anybody who wants to know in depth, please read a book called "The Arrogance of Power" written by a Fullbright Senator, former Committee on Foreign Relations, House of Senate during the Vietnam war.
Today, I would like to discuss a bit about American hypocrisy. Looking up in a dictionary, you would find synonyms of "hypocrisy" which are insincerity, double standards, pretense, duplicity และ twofacedness.
Hypocrisy is also present in Thai culture. Examples of equivalent aphorisms are: overtly agree but covertly oppose; people who say one thing but do another; the mouth is askew with the mind, a fox and sour grapes, pious platitude, polite but cold-blood, and flattering which are milder when compared with American Hypocrisy which means all.
American Hypocrisy which is a talk of the town at present is what Ms.Clinton says that US government supports free and fair election and that a civil government is a Thai democratic development. who criticizes about article 112 and the imprisonment of Joe Gordon and Ar Kong that they are severe penalties and, on the other hand, affect freedom of expression. This is synchronizing with Thailand-besieged-under-global strategy, and quite raises laudatory echoes from red scholars.
It is a pity that sense of wisdom of Thais are shallow. So much beguiled and chickened of American that we do not perceive the hypocrisy, nosy and dangers of American such as follows.
1. Americans claim that they have utmost freedom of expression according to The First Amendment or article 1 ( http://civilliberty.about.com/od/firstamendment/tp/First-Amendment.htm ) which prohibits the parliament to enact any law to limit rights and freedom in respect of religions and freedom of expression, for example, in speech, writing, and publishing and assembly. However, freedom of speech or writing is not protect for sedition, obscenity, defamation, slander, libel, fighting words, and threat etc. [Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.]

What the American ambassador made an outcry about article 112 and Mr.Joe Gordon case of 2.5 years imprisonment for Lese Majesty, is an American's double standard and utmost hypocrisy. Logan Spencer has just been jailed for 33 months for writing a poem called "Sniper" which the court considered it as an indirect threat to the President Obama while there was no mention of the name Obama.
American has some laws protecting the President, Vice President and people who are in the chain of command (18 USC Sec. 871 http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/usc_sec_18_00000871----000-.html และ Source: usgovinfo.about.com). They are laws to protect people who hold the positions which are different from article 112 which protects royal institutions and national security. In addition, American has many other laws to protect officers of other positions from being subjected to peasants abuse. During Obama's term, actually, there are many people in abundance jailed more than people jailed because of our Lese Majesty law.

US governments have involved in supporting of overturning governments despite of being democratic from elections while US governments have supported dictator governments and military dictators who are servile. Many times, US governments support illegal troops, or rebels with CIA or blantantly attacks with the army such as in Panama and Iraq. US government may claim that they do not involve (in the anti-royalists), but only support freedom of an individual or groups of people who instigate and insult His Majesty the King. Is it the time for Thai leaders and Thai people stop being chicken? Do understand the nosy, fussy, hypocrisy American which may be dangerous to our beloved institutes and national security.

ผมรักอเมริกัน รักประชาคมและชุมชนอเมริกันอันหลากหลายเชื้อชาติเผ่าพันธุ์ เคยตั้งใจไว้ว่าหากเมืองไทยลอกคราบเผด็จการไม่สำเร็จ จะอพยพไปเป็นคนอเมริกันเสียให้สิ้นเรื่อง แต่บัดนี้ผมได้คืนใบเขียวที่ได้มาเกือบ 50 ปีไปเรียบร้อยแล้ว
บังเอิญผมเป็นนักเรียนที่รู้พิษสงของรัฐบาลและอภิสิทธิชนกลุ่มผลประโยชน์ บางกลุ่มของอเมริกัน พวกนี้พร้อมจะทำลายล้มล้างเผ่าพันธุ์เข่นฆ่าใคร ไม่ว่าประธานาธิบดี กษัตริย์หรือประเทศใดก็ได้ เพื่อผลประโยชน์ของเขา ผมจึงไม่ไว้ใจรัฐบาลอเมริกันและคนพวกนั้น รวมทั้งตัวแทนของเขาในประเทศเราด้วย

ไทยต้องเข้าใจจิตวิทยาของอเมริกันในฐานะอภิมหาอำนาจใหม่หลังสงครามโลกครั้ง ที่ 2 ที่จนบัดนี้ก็ยังไม่ทันสะเด็ดน้ำความคิดแบบแยกค่าย และสงครามเย็นกับปมเด่นของตน เพราะฉะนั้น ไทยจะต้องรู้จักวางตนไม่ “หงอ” อเมริกันไปเสียทุกเรื่อง
หากจำเป็น เราต้องกล้า “ตบกะโหลก” อเมริกันเสียบ้างเพื่อให้เขารู้สึกตัว หยุดแทรกแซงเรื่องภายในของเรา ไม่ฝักใฝ่เข้าข้างหรือพูดภาษาเดียวกับคนที่เราเห็นว่าไม่รักชาติและเป็น อันตรายต่อประเทศ อเมริกันต้องรู้จักเคารพอธิปไตยและความเป็นชาติเก่าแก่ของไทย แต่ไทยจะต้องเคารพตัวเองเสียก่อน
ลีลาการดำเนินนโยบายต่างประเทศของอเมริกันมักจะ “ลำเอียง ไร้เดียงสา และบ้าอำนาจ” อยู่เสมอๆ
ลำเอียงอย่างไร เช่น ชอบบังคับให้เราเลือกข้าง ถ้าใครไม่เลือกข้างอเมริกันก็แปลว่าคนนั้นเลือกข้างศัตรู อย่างที่ประธานาธิบดีหน้าโง่คนหนึ่งของอเมริกาสรุปเอาง่ายๆ
ส่วนไร้เดียงสานั้น นอกจากจะแปลว่า naïve แล้ว ยังแปลว่าจมอยู่ในปลักอวิชชา ขาด prudence หรือกุศโลบาย และไม่รู้ดีรู้ชั่ว enlightened เอาเสียเลย การคัดเลือกเพาะบ่มอาชีพกระทรวงต่างประเทศอเมริกันนั้น มักจะเลือกคนที่มีสติปัญญาระดับเฉลี่ยที่ว่านอนสอนง่าย ไม่เอาคนที่ฉลาดปราดเปรื่อง ส่วนคนนอกที่เอามาตั้งเป็นทูตก็เป็นการตอบแทนคนที่บริจาคเงินหาเสียงให้กับ พรรคโดยไม่คำนึงถึงความเหมาะสมที่แท้จริง
ทูตอเมริกันบ้านเราคนปัจจุบันนี้เป็นสายอาชีพ มีเสียงลือเสียงเล่าอ้างว่าสมัยเป็นทูตอยู่มนิลาเธอจุ้นจ้านมาก
คำว่า บ้าอำนาจนั้นเห็นจะไม่ต้องอธิบาย ใครอยากรู้ลึกซึ้งอาจจะไปอ่านหนังสือชื่อ The Arrogance of Power แต่งโดยวุฒิสมาชิกฟุลไบร์ท อดีตประธานกรรมาธิการวิเทศสัมพันธ์ของวุฒิสภาอเมริกันสมัยสงครามเวียดนาม
วันนี้ ผมอยากจะพูดเรื่องมารยาสาไถยของอเมริกันสักหน่อย มารยาสาไถยนี้ภาษาฝรั่งแปลว่า hypocrisy หากลองเปิดพจนานุกรมดู หมู่คำที่มีความหมายอย่างเดียวหรือใกล้เคียงกับ hypocrisy ก็คือ insincerity, double standards, pretense, duplicity และ twofacedness แปลเรียงลำดับว่า ขาดความจริงใจ สองมาตรฐาน หลอกลวง ยอกย้อนและตีสองหน้า เป็นต้น
Hypocricy ในวัฒนธรรมไทยเราก็มี การพูดอย่างทำอย่าง ปากไม่ตรงกับใจ ปากว่าตาขยิบ ปากปราศรัยน้ำใจเชือดคอ ว่าแต่เขาอิเหนาเป็นเอง นายว่าขี้ข้าพลอย อะไรทำนองนี้ เป็น hypocrisy อ่อนๆ เมื่อเทียบกับ American Hypocrisy ที่รวบเอาของเราไปหมด
American Hypocrisy ที่เกรียวกราวบ้านเราตอนนี้ ก็เช่นเรื่องที่นังคลินตันออกมาพูดว่ารัฐบาลอเมริกันสนับสนุนการเลือกตั้ง ที่เสรีและยุติธรรม (free and fair election) กับรัฐบาลพลเรือนเป็นความก้าวหน้าของประชาธิปไตยไทย (ดูhttp://iipdigital.usembassy. gov/st/english/texttrans/2011/11/20111 116154755su8.414203e-02.html #ixzz1h5T0bAzK) นัง หรือ ฯพณฯ เอกอัครราชทูตอเมริกันนัง Kristie Kenney (ดูhttp:// bangkok.usembassy.gov/081911_embassy_statement.html) ที่ออกมาวิจารณ์ ม. 112 และการจำคุกนายโจ กอร์ดอน และอากงว่าเป็นการลงโทษที่รุนแรงและกระทบกระเทือนสิทธิเสรีภาพในการแสดงความ คิดเห็นอีกอย่างหนึ่ง เป็นการประสานยุทธศาสตร์โลกล้อมประเทศเรียกเสียงเฮจากนักวิชาการฝ่ายแดงถ่อย ได้กึกก้อง
น่าเสียดายที่ต่อมรับรู้ของคนไทยตื้น หลงและหงออเมริกันจนเกินเหตุ ไม่เข้าใจความสับปลับกลับกลอก จุดจ้านและอันตรายของอเมริกันดังตัวอย่าง
1. อเมริกันอ้างว่าตนมีสิทธิเสรีภาพในการแสดงความคิดเห็นเต็มที่ตาม The First Amendment หรือมาตรา 1 การแก้ไขเพิ่มเติมรัฐธรรมนูญ (ดูhttp://civilliberty.about.com/od/firstamendment/tp/First- Amendment.htm) ที่ห้ามมิให้รัฐสภาออกกฎหมายจำกัดสิทธิเสรีภาพในการนับถือศาสนา และการแสดงความเห็นอันได้แก่เสรีภาพในการพูดเขียนโฆษณาและชุมนุม เป็นต้น แต่เสรีภาพในการพูดหรือเขียนนี้มีข้อยกเว้นไม่คุ้มครอง sedition หรือการทำลายความมั่นคงของรัฐ obscenity เรื่องลามกอนาจาร defamation ทำลายชื่อเสียง slander ใส่ร้ายป้ายสี libel พิมพ์ข้อความใส่ร้ายทำลายชื่อเสียง fighting words ดูหมิ่นซึ่งหน้า threat คุกคามความปลอดภัย ฯลฯ

3. รัฐบาลอเมริกันเกี่ยวข้องและสนับสนุนการโค่นล้มรัฐบาล ทั้งๆ ที่เป็นรัฐบาลประชาธิปไตยมาจากการเลือกตั้ง แต่รัฐบาลอเมริกันกลับไปสนับสนุนรัฐบาลเผด็จการและเผด็จการทหารที่เป็นสมุน ตน และหลายครั้งก็สนับสนุนกองกำลังนอกกฎหมาย พวกกบฏ ใช้ซีไอเอ หรือแม้แต่ใช้กองทัพเข้ารุกรานอย่างโจ่งแจ้งเช่นกรณีปานามาและอิรัก เป็นต้น (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CovertUnited_States_foreignregime_change_actions)
รัฐบาลอเมริกันอาจอ้างว่าตนไม่มีส่วน แต่สนับสนุนและอ้างว่าเป็นสิทธิเสรีภาพของบุคคลหรือหมู่คณะที่ปลุกปั่นจาบ จ้วงพระมหากษัตริย์ไทย ถึงเวลาแล้วหรือยังที่ผู้นำและคนไทยจะเลิกหงอ และเข้าใจความจุ้นจ้านวุ่นวายสับปลับกลับกลอกของอเมริกัน อันอาจเป็นอันตรายต่อความมั่นคงของชาติและสถาบันที่เรารัก
